Rights and Responsibilities

Student Statute

The student statute sets out students’ rights and responsibilities. The charter clarifies the rules within the school and helps to create a pleasant, safe and respectful learning environment for everyone. Click here for the (Dutch) student statute.

Complaints Regulation

We believe it is important that students, parents/carers, staff and volunteers feel their voices are heard. Despite the best of intentions, there may be occasions when parents/carers are dissatisfied with a situation at school. In most cases, we try to resolve complaints together by discussing the matter with one another. A complaint is therefore always discussed first with the staff member or learning coach directly involved. If this does not lead to a resolution, the complaint may be referred to the management team. If necessary, a formal complaint may then be lodged with the Governing Board or the external complaints committee.

The full complaints procedure contains further information on the various steps involved, the role of confidential advisers and how to lodge a complaint. Click here for the (Dutch) complaints regulation.
